MOTs
Safety First
All cars over three years old require an annual MOT inspection. MOTs are a legal requirement to check the safety of your vehicle, its roadworthiness and that it complies with current legislation. The MOT test involves various tests to parts of the car which includes brakes, tyres, windscreen wipers, screen wash, lights, fuel system, exhaust system, seatbelts.

You may wish to leave your car with us, enjoy the delights of Uttoxeter or head home, and we will call you when the MOT is complete, or you may prefer to book an appointment, wait with us and enjoy a cup of tea while you do so. The choice is yours, please let us know at the time of booking your MOT on 01889 562999.

If your vehicle fails its MOT, we will advise you of this and what repairs are required. If you would like us to carry out the work then we can do this for you, with your permission. After completion of the work, your vehicle will require a retest, which we can do for you. Hopefully though, if your car is regularly maintained and serviced, this won’t be the case and you will be able to drive away happy in the knowledge that your car is safe and roadworthy!
